GETTING THERE
South Lake Union Park is a gorgeous, 12-acre waterfront park located at the south end of Lake Union, just north of Downtown Seattle.
The Park is just 1.2 miles from Westlake Center and less than a mile from Seattle Center.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
There is no parking in the Park itself. Ample parking is available to the south of the park in the South Lake Union neighborhood.
Additional parking is available along Westlake Ave N, along Dexter Ave N. and at Seattle Center.
All parking is within a short walk to South Lake Union Park.

Directions
To get to Summer Nights at South Lake Union, follow these simple directions.
From I-5 (North and South):
- Take exit #167 (Mercer St./Seattle Center)
- Turn RIGHT on Fairview Ave North and drive northbound 500 feet.
- Turn LEFT on Valley Street
- South Lake Union Park is on your right at Terry Ave North, just west of the Center for Wooden Boats.
From Aurora Ave Northbound (99 North):
- Shortly after emerging from the tunnel between Bell St. and Denny Way, turn RIGHT onto Harrison Street.
- Continue east 4 blocks to Westlake Avenue North
- Turn LEFT onto Westlake Avenue North and continue north for three blocks to Valley Street.
- South Lake Union Park is directly ahead of you at Terry Ave North, just west of the Center for Wooden Boats.
From Aurora Ave Southbound (99 South):
- After crossing the Aurora Bridge over the ship canal, take the second exit, labeled “Dexter Avenue North.” The off ramp will bring you to a “yield” sign.
- Turn RIGHT on Dexter Avenue North and proceed south approximately one mile to Mercer Street.
- Turn LEFT at Mercer Street and proceed three blocks.
- South Lake Union Park is on your left at Terry Ave North, just west of the Center for Wooden Boats.
PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION:
The South Lake Union neighborhood is served by a number of Metro bus lines, including the 8, 17, 26, 28, 70 and 71 (after 7 pm). Visit Metro’s web site to plan your trip to South Lake Union Park. http://tripplanner.metrokc.gov
